Department for Management in Tourism
The Department for Management in Tourism is the largest department at the Faculty of Tourism Studies - Turistica and brings together teachers and researchers who study and research tourism from a multidisciplinary perspective with an emphasis on tourism management. Research projects as well as the pedagogical view of the department aim to acquire and provide knowledge in the field of management of tourist organizations both at global and local level.
Thus, the emphasis is on teaching and researching business, business functions and management in tourist organizations and single events. In addition, in their teaching and research work, department members address various types of thematic tourist products. The members of the department are also actively involved in national and international organizations in the field of tourism management and are committed to cooperate with the business environment. As guest lecturers at foreign universities and authors of numerous papers in domestic and foreign academic journals and other publications, the members contribute to the development of knowledge and good practices in the field of business, organization and management of business processes and offers in tourism.
The department manages the study programs: Tourism Enterprise Management, Tourism (UN program).
