Cooperation between Turistica and EMUNI university
Portorož, 16 November 2015 – UP FTŠ Turistica and the Euro-Mediterranean University EMUNI signed the contract for the rental of office space at UP FTŠ Turistica. The EMUNI University will rent the spaces for the period of two years, for the time of renovation of their building in Portorož. The contract was signed by prof. Anton Gosar, dean of Turistica, and prof. Abdelhamid Elzoheiry, presiden of the EMUNI university.
Since its establishment in 2008, the Euro-Mediterranean University, one of the priority projects of the Union for the Mediterranean, has become an international institution, which gathers expert knowledge and experience of the Euro-Mediterranean countries and thus contributes in a significant way to the creation of a unified, integrated Euro-Mediterranean higher education and research area. The vision of the University is: “The international Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI University), headquartered in Slovenia will significantly contribute to the development of Higher-Education and Research Area and to sustainable development of wider social-economic and cultural environment in the EUROMED countries and to the recognisability of Slovenia in the region – Union for the Mediterranean.” And because the similarities between the goals, to which we strive for, we are looking forward for the cooperation with EMUNI.
